Harold Kerzner's 23-chapter, 1,012-page text is an authoritative source of information on the principles of project management from one of the best-known and respected authorities on the subject. Kerzner is a Professor of systems management at Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio, and is President of Project Management Associates, a consulting and training company that provides seminars for leading U.S. and international corporations. Information is aligned with the Project Management Institute's Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMI's PMBOK) — the source of training for the Project Management Professional Certification Exam.

Knowledge of project management is essential for career and organizational success. This text is suitable for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as for novice and experienced managers at all levels of the organization. Regardless of profession, many employers consider project management knowledge an essential skill for their staffs. A strong link exists between good project management and productivity. This book cover every important component subject and supplements the information with more than 25 case studies, 400 discussion questions and 125 multiple-choice questions. A separate supplemental workbook contains many more discussion questions and case studies. For instructors, a supplemental instructor's manual and set of PowerPoint slides are available.

Kerzner's book is an excellent choice for a course text, and an excellent desk-side reference. It is a worthwhile investment for your career success, and a good supplemental source of information for those preparing for certification examinations in project management.
